Making is a chance to introduce who you are to the world. In the case of our latest interns, it was literal. They are gearing up to give tours for campus events, including Maker Faire Lake County 2025. Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 12th.

One of our favorite events each year is watching the Lake County community make something together. This year it will be a string art creation. Like most Makers you may have a stash of supplies. If you have some string to spare, please bring it to add some color to our creation.
Is it how you relax, gifts for friends or maybe a side hustle? Here at CLC, our interns are creating awards for the college employees.

As November winds down, I am thankful to be part of an engineering department that encourages curiosity and exploration for all ages. I’m also excited as we finalize the plans for the Make-a-Thon Jan 27th and Maker Faire on April 13th. Applications for Makers opens Dec 1st
One of my favorite activities at a Maker Faire is the community build. More than 500 balloons were a part of this Maker Faire Lake County mural.
