Di'Quan Ishmon

My name is Di'Quan Ishmon a senior/grad student at Northern Illinois University Majoring in Mechatronics Engineering and minoring in Electrical Engineering. I am a research assistant in the OMRON/EASeL Laboratory working on the human interaction of robotic swarms. This application can be applied to aquatic, drones, and ground robots to recognize human prior knowledge based on the search and rescue algorithms and data. This will help build human confidence to continue searching in unfamiliar areas and can be used for mars and lunar missions too. I am graduating this upcoming May 2022 with my bachelor's in Mechatronics Engineering and graduating next year in May 2023 with my Master's in Mechanical Engineering. I am currently doing the accelerated BS-MS program, and I am apart of the first graduating class with the Mechatronics degree this May.
